The Bytown NSDAR Chapter values our Associate Members and invites all Associates to our chapter events and activities. We are always excited to welcome Associate Members to our meetings (which are usually held in a hybrid in-person and Zoom format) and to our private Facebook group. Some of our Associate Members have links to Eastern Ontario or Western Quebec and have joined us for in-person events. Our Associate Members provide us with valuable insights, recommendations and suggestions thanks to their active participation and interest in Bytown NSDAR, which we are very grateful for.

We have found that our Associate Members provide us with a valuable link to the U.S. Although here in Canada we may not be technically located "overseas" as most Units Overseas are, fundraising is never as easy for Chapters like ours that are located outside of the U.S.
Associates therefore represent an important means of supporting our events, awards and charitable activities. We are proud to have such an active and loyal group of Associate Members: our Associates have represented Bytown NSDAR at a number of recent regional and national NSDAR events, including the Texas Challenge and at Continental Congress.

- How long is the Associate Membership valid? Bytown NSDAR's Associate Membership is typically valid January - December, though if you want to join towards the end of the calendar year, we will typically honor your membership for the following calendar year.
- How much does it cost to join? The cost is $15 (US or Canadian dollars) for the year.
- How do I join? Simply download the form above (or print it out), fill it in, and mail your check along with the form to the address indicated. You can download or print the form directly from this web browser, simply select the download or printer icon from the top-right corner of the form in this window.
- How do I know my membership form and check were received? You will receive a welcome email. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Allison Moran (email listed in the form).
- What are the benefits of joining Bytown as an Associate Member? In addition to supporting a Units Overseas NSDAR chapter, you will be invited to sit in on our chapter meetings, which are held in a hybrid (in-person and Zoom) format, you will be invited to our private chapter Facebook group, and if you are ever in the Ottawa, Ontario or Montreal, Quebec area during any of our in-person events, we will invite you to attend (just let us know you are around)!
